Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to operate our state-of-the-art CNC machines, including the Mulitaxis VTL Vertical Turning Lathe & Multiaxis HBM Horizontal Boring Mill. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blueprint reading, setup operations, and tooling setup.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to production specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure accurate machining of components.
  • Upload programs and make necessary adjustments to machine parameters.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and make tooling offsets as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
  • Use metrology tools such as Vernier calipers, Dial calipers, Digital calipers, Micrometer, Bore micrometer, Depth micrometer to measure and inspect parts to meet precise specifications.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control throughout the machining process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience.
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines.
  • Strong blueprint reading skills.
  • Ability to read and understand CNC programs (G & M codes).
  • Knowledge of tool selection, tooling setup, and making tool offsets.
  • Proficiency in using metrology tools (CMM experience is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Willingness to work with a safety-first mindset.
