We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse II to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our nursing team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research, applying evidence-based knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
To be successful as a Clinical Nurse II, you will need:
- A valid California RN license.
- At least six months of experience as a Clinical Nurse I with Alameda Health System or equivalent experience in a comparable setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
