Crystal Creamery Inc. is actively seeking candidates for the following roles: Machine Operators, Milk Receiving Specialists, and Powder Production Technicians. We provide a competitive starting salary ranging from $19.00 to $21.00 depending on experience, along with a Teamsters Pension and comprehensive medical benefits fully covered for you and your family upon successful completion of the probationary period. All roles require flexibility for off shifts and weekend work.



Position Overview

The primary responsibility involves retrieving products for customer orders.

Engage in freight handling utilizing both motorized and manual equipment (upon certification).

Utilize hand-held tracking devices as necessary.

Accurately document adjustments for product shortages on the appropriate paperwork.

Maintain precise records on load sheets, inventory sheets, scrap sheets, and computerized systems.

Ensure proper rotation of product code dates.

Keep the palletizer supplied with empty pallets to facilitate uninterrupted operation.

Report any issues related to products or packaging.

Complete all required documentation clearly, legibly, and accurately, ensuring all necessary information is included.

Document all required information in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Adopt a continuous improvement mindset by identifying opportunities to enhance processes.

Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe working environment.

Follow all mandated safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, and fall protection measures.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or GED is preferred; alternatively, one to two years of relevant experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience.

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Experience in the food and beverage sector is preferred.

Must be capable of standing, walking, pushing, or pulling for the majority of the day and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, as well as manually stacking and moving cases up to 6-8 cases high.

Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to work effectively within a team setting.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Compensation Information: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
