Job Summary

The Retail Support Specialist is a critical member of our team, balancing excellence in retail operations, customer service, and digital excellence. This role will reward diligent, detailed, and focused bike enthusiasts who share our core belief that bikes change lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and connect with riders, asking qualifying questions and listening to their needs, then providing options and advice on meeting those needs
  • Inspire riders, celebrate purchases, and create a lasting positive impression of the overall experience
  • Proficiency in Lightspeed point of sale systems and store operational websites
  • Deliver world-class rider service, ensuring ongoing sales and high levels of rider satisfaction
  • Manage and track webstore sales and coordination of delivery
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality

Requirements

  • Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand
  • A current or former retail employee with 1-3 years of experience preferred
  • POS experience required
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively interact with riders and team members
  • Ability to work as business dictates, including weekends
  • Ability to stand for extensive time periods, while occasionally walking, kneeling, or reaching
  • Able to lift at least 25 lbs. or more and use proper lifting skills
