The Emergency Medical Technician operates as a Paramedic with a National Registry Certification, under the Medical Direction of ConvenientMD.

This role requires advanced patient assessment skills for managing a variety of medical conditions and traumatic injuries, proficiency in airway management, intravenous therapy, and pharmacological interventions.

The EMT will take the lead in scenarios where a Registered Nurse is unavailable and will collaborate with the clinical team to complete all shared clinical duties and responsibilities within their scope of practice.


Key Responsibilities:
Patient assessment, including but not limited to: vital signs; medical history; observational examinationAssist with all patient examinations, testing, and procedures under the provider's guidanceAirway management through nebulizer treatments, oral suctioning, oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal airway, oxygen delivery & ventilation with AMBU bagCardiac management through the application of 12 Lead ECG, CPR-Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and defibrillation via AEDMedication and immunization administration as per the CMD Emergency Medical Technician scope of practiceAssist with patient follow-ups, including answering patient inquiries, reporting test results, and communicating medication/therapy adjustmentsParticipate in training and mentoring new team membersAbout You:Nationally Certified Paramedic (Required in NH & MA, ME preferred)

Licensed Paramedic AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification Preferred; American Red Cross BLS Certification AcceptedMust be able to work 12-hour shifts and weekends Physical Requirements:
Requires the ability to stand and sit for extended periods. Some bending and stooping is necessary.
Must possess manual dexterity for clinical tasks.
Must be capable of lifting 50lbs.
