Job Title: Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team at Lincoln Intermediate Unit No. 12. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing students' educational progress and providing counseling, instruction, consultation, collaboration, assessments, and monitoring services for students, their families, and staff.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic emotional support to students. This includes providing counseling, instruction, and consultation services to students, their families, and staff. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work, a current Pennsylvania Department of State issued license as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and a minimum of five years' experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide counseling, instruction, and consultation services to students, their families, and staff.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Provide support and resources to students and their families to address social, emotional, and academic needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work.
  • Current Pennsylvania Department of State issued license as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a school setting.
