Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated District Social Worker to join our team at Oxford Area School District. This permanent contracted position requires a Master's Degree in Social Work and certifications in Home and School Visitor and LSW/LCSW/LPC. The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Superintendent and be responsible for providing social services to students and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social services to students and families in a school setting
  • Develop and implement social service plans to support student success
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to support student well-being
  • Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of social service activities
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work
  • Certifications in Home and School Visitor and LSW/LCSW/LPC
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
