Occupational Health Services LPN

Butterball, LLC is a leading manufacturer of turkey products in the United States, with a strong commitment to providing a safe and healthy work environment for its employees. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated LPN to join our Occupational Health Services team.
Job Summary:The Occupational Health Services LPN will provide medical care and first aid to employees, promote health and safety awareness, and assist with case management strategies for work-related injuries and illnesses. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:- Provide medical care and first aid to employees, including administering medications and performing basic medical procedures.
- Promote health and safety awareness among employees, including providing education and training on workplace hazards and safety protocols.
- Assist with case management strategies for work-related injuries and illnesses, including coordinating with medical providers and workers' compensation adjusters.
- Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations for preventing future incidents.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, including employee health histories and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other departments, including HR and Safety, to ensure a comprehensive approach to employee health and safety.
- Current unrestricted LPN license to practice professional nursing in the state of North Carolina.
- Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
- 1 year of experience in healthcare, preferably in an occupational health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, management, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
