Responsibilities- Provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process.
- Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
- Coordinate patient care with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of hire and/or compact licensure.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on the position/unit.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking during each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
