Position Overview

The Project Construction Manager will oversee the execution of vertical construction projects and tenant improvements. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive administrative and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, contract specifications, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer the Project Safety Program, ensuring safe practices are followed and corrective actions are implemented as necessary.
  • Verify that all necessary project permits are secured and maintain compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of contract specifications, including subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Oversee all administrative functions and reporting related to the project.
  • Manage technical and engineering functions, including planning, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors and ensure alignment with the master project schedule.
  • Document daily site conditions, labor, and material deliveries through comprehensive reports.
  • Foster employee development through training and mentorship initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control measures and testing requirements.
  • Engage in formal and informal collaboration sessions to enhance project outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to address any additional work requirements.
  • Contribute to bid reviews by providing insights on schedules, methods, and resource needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
