Job Summary:

Hodges Management is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Verify inventory levels and manage stock to prevent waste and optimize ordering.
  • Clean and sanitize cooking equipment and utensils to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manage the flow of food orders and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Follow established sanitation and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds waist-high and stand for long periods of time.
  • Good balance and coordination to navigate the kitchen safely.
  • Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists. A drug-free workplace is a requirement for this position.
