Join our team at the Georgia Department of Community Health as a Sanitation Specialist at the Billeting Office. This role is essential for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sanitation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing routine and systematic cleaning operations in designated areas, including sleeping quarters, communal spaces, and restrooms.
  • Moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as necessary to ensure thorough cleaning.
  • Adhering to established policies and procedures regarding client confidentiality and security protocols.
  • Being available to work during evenings and weekends as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

We value candidates who possess:

  • A minimum of six months of experience in cleaning, facilities maintenance, or a related field.

Additional Requirements:

The selected candidate must meet the following criteria:

  1. Possess a valid Georgia Driver's License.
  2. Be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
  3. Pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in the State Random Drug Testing Program.
