Job Summary

The Histology Technician is responsible for preparing tissue samples for the Pathologist to review. This involves cutting, staining, and embedding tissue samples to ensure accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare tissue samples for histopathological examination
  • Operate microtomes to section paraffin blocks
  • Embed tissue samples according to standard operating procedures
  • Communicate with the Pathologist and other laboratory staff to ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain accurate records of all tests performed
Requirements
  • High School diploma equivalent
