Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Respond to staff inquiries, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and provide guidance through the problem-solving process.
- Issue Escalation: Pass complex problems on to senior IT staff when necessary, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to our operations.
- Documentation: Record issues and solutions for future reference, attaching relevant articles to tickets for common issues.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure staff satisfaction by checking in with employees post-service, gathering feedback, and implementing improvements.
- Communication: Share feedback with internal stakeholders, including the CEO and IT Consultants, to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Tracking and Management: Monitor open tickets, provide weekly status updates to IT Consultants, and manage daily backups to maintain system integrity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Set up and maintain computer equipment, tracking inventory as needed to ensure efficient operations.
- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems, experience troubleshooting hardware and software, and advanced competency in Microsoft applications.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex technical processes and deliver clear, step-by-step instructions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a patient and friendly demeanor.
- Customer Service: Commitment to providing exceptional customer service, with a focus on staff satisfaction and retention.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team, with a team-oriented mindset and openness to constructive feedback.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience providing IT support, including Windows Server maintenance, with a basic understanding of network infrastructure and Windows Servers.
- Technical Passion: Passion for problem-solving and customer service, with a tech-savvy attitude and experience in a tech-related field.
- Diagnostic Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues, with a willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
- Teamwork: Team-oriented mindset with an openness to constructive feedback, and a willingness to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of the 3CX phone system will be considered a plus.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $30-35 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
