The Oncology Treatment Unit at the Knight Cancer Institute is in search of a dedicated and proficient Clinical RN. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional, evidence-based care to patients undergoing oncology treatment in an outpatient infusion environment.
Key Responsibilities- Self-Evaluation: Assess personal nursing knowledge and practices, pinpoint areas for improvement, and engage in performance enhancement initiatives and research activities.
- Leadership: Set patient-centered priorities, advocate for safety, and effectively assign tasks within the team.
- Patient Care: Serve as a patient advocate, implement care based on evidence-based methodologies, and uphold patient dignity and autonomy.
- Collaboration: Build therapeutic relationships with patients, communicate proficiently with the healthcare team, and facilitate knowledge sharing among colleagues.
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN License in Oregon
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Blood and Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN) certification, along with prior experience in ambulatory oncology nursing.
