Uptown Rehabilitation Center - Albuquerque, NM is seeking a skilled and compassionate Unit Manager - RN to lead our nursing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, managing nursing staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing coverage and provide safe patient care
• Participate in developing and implementing strategies to achieve patient goals and minimize rehospitalizations
• Mentor and educate nurses, working with physicians and other medical professionals, to ensure high-quality patient care
• Oversee medication management to ensure compliance with Genesis policy and regulations
• Provide direct patient care to maintain skills and stay current with industry developments

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Associate Degree in Nursing, three years of nursing experience, or equivalent
• Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state
• BLS/CPR certification
