Key Responsibilities

As an Aggregate Dispatcher, your primary duty will be to communicate effectively with team members, drivers, and clients to guarantee the prompt delivery of high-quality materials. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing incoming calls and addressing customer inquiries.
  • Inputting work orders into dispatch systems.
  • Coordinating delivery schedules, routes, driver start times, and load plans to ensure timely service.
  • Utilizing fleet management software to monitor driver progress and provide support during deliveries.
  • Collaborating with various departments, including HR/Safety and Maintenance, to uphold fleet safety and compliance.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in aggregate products and quarry operations is preferred.
  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent, with a basic understanding of mathematics.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills, with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills to establish priorities.
  • Familiarity with geographical areas and weight limits, with the ability to read and interpret maps.
  • Capability to follow directives from various personnel for efficient operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to provide and understand clear instructions.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, with the capacity to learn new software through training.
