Server Ambassador

At The Inn at Little Washington, we are seeking a skilled Server Ambassador to join our Front of House team. As a Server Ambassador, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a 5-Star, 5-Diamond, 3-Michelin Star experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in daily Front of House operations to maintain high standards of service.
  • Maintain all aspects of the service areas and dining room, including tables, side stands, and silverware.
  • Greet guests and offer beverage service, including cream, sugar, and specialty drinks.
  • Input house breakfast correctly in the POS and maintain tables throughout service.
  • Polish silverware and learn how to do all items on all 3 checklists.
  • Assist in training new employees to the standards that are in place.
  • Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of The Forbes 5-Star standards, AAA, Michelin, and Relais & Chateaux.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Must be well-groomed and well-presented with no visible tattoos.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be on time to scheduled shift.
  • Open to working weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Forbes Standards.
  • Ability to communicate in a language other than English, preferably Spanish or French.
  • Certification in CPR.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift 30+ lbs.
  • Able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time.
  • Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing.
