The Role

We are seeking a skilled Production Assistant to join our small but mighty team at our Hudson Valley workshop in Red Hook, NY. As a Production Assistant, you will be responsible for handcrafting our clean skincare products on site, working with food-grade ingredients and utilizing baking equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate the production line to ensure daily production goals are met
  • Monitor equipment and material running through machinery to ensure quality and safety standards are adhered to
  • Inspect all materials and finished goods to ensure products meet our quality standards
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and utilize required safety gear
  • Ensure machinery and surrounding workspace are clean and orderly
  • Assist in simple machinery maintenance and upkeep
  • Accurately monitor and record daily production output
  • Coordinate the change-over of the production line for daily SKU changes
  • Packaging products as needed
Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a kitchen, bakery, or food manufacturing environment is highly preferred
  • Ability to operate machinery and utilize other food equipment safely
  • Ability to work with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly collaborative with a willingness to tackle any task
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds repeatedly and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours during shifts
  • Flexibility to meet shift changes as required
