Job Summary:

The Executive Chef - Infusions is a key member of our team at GrowSciences, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within the kitchen. This includes the development, publication, and execution of the production schedule, staffing, procedure and process development, safety within the workspace, quality, accurate dosing of finished goods, and maintaining a clean and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of production and development of new infusions methods
  • Implementation of lean manufacturing practices within the kitchen space
  • Assistance with the development and reporting of key manufacturing metrics
  • Assistance with the development and formation of the production plan
  • Contribution to the sales and operations process
  • Assistance with new product introduction cycles
  • Development, publication, and execution of the infusions production schedule
  • Availability for outside sales training and educational resource development
  • Drafting, reviewing, and approving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Staff training and development
  • Tracking and reporting supply levels
  • Reporting maintenance issues and troubleshooting minor equipment failures
  • Maintenance of a compliant and clean workspace
  • Maintenance of a safe workspace
  • Assistance with the development and reporting of key manufacturing metrics

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED or higher
  • A minimum of (1) year of related cannabis experience
  • Maintenance of clean, sanitary, and organized work areas
  • Self-motivation and ability to multitask
  • An effective and persuasive communicator
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform manual labor tasks required for the management of the grow
  • Strong knowledge of the cannabis industry and the harvest process
  • Strong leadership experience, with experience leading large teams
  • Strong attention to detail

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the Arizona Department of Health Services
  • Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of the criminal background check conducted by the Arizona Department of Health Services
  • Valid Arizona State Issued ID
