Job Overview

The Rosticceria - Phoenix is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will work closely with our Executive and Sous Chefs to prepare high-quality dishes for our customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

Our ideal candidate will have proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook. They will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Preparing food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
  • Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answering, reporting, and following executive or sous chef's instructions
  • Cleaning up stations and taking care of leftover food
  • Stocking inventory appropriately
  • Ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
  • Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiarity with industry's best practices
  • Culinary school diploma
