Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Mechanic to join our Commercial Construction team at Moore's Electrical & Mechanical. As an Electrical Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects in the Danville and surrounding areas, demonstrating and growing your skills in the trade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thorough knowledge in the electrical trade, including cutting, bending, threading, and installation of EMT conduit of all sizes.
  • Experience bending offsets, 3 points, 4 points, saddles, kicks, 90's, etc.
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, submittals, and construction/coordination drawings.
  • Assisting in hooking up/terminating electrical panels, setting fixtures, and various electrical devices.
  • Experience seeing installs from start to finish.
  • Ability to work as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Vocational school or prior training preferred.
  • Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts.
  • Strong interest in the trade and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed.
