Position Overview: Are you prepared to make a meaningful difference in healthcare? As an integral part of our care team, you will support both patients and staff through various clinical and administrative responsibilities. This role is designed for individuals eager to contribute to a patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care and clinical summaries, guiding patients on subsequent steps or follow-ups.
- Conduct phlebotomy procedures as required.
- Collaborate with the care team by preparing patients and gathering necessary clinical information.
- Manage patient appointments in accordance with established protocols and scheduling guidelines.
- Execute standing orders aligned with practice policies and procedures.
- Accurately document all patient interactions and clinical activities in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Coordinate scheduling of tests, treatments, and follow-up visits, assisting patients in identifying external resources for disease management.
- Handle patient inquiries and document calls, ensuring messages are relayed to providers as necessary.
- Monitor task management systems to ensure timely responses and follow-ups on critical referrals.
- Work with Regional Nurse Managers to oversee temperature monitoring processes.
- Support the care team in maintaining efficient office operations and delivering exceptional service.
- Stay informed on current coding, OSHA, and CLIA regulations, as well as company policies.
- Adhere to patient safety initiatives and infection control protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant, or the ability to obtain CMA/RMA certification shortly after hire.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (e.g., Epic).
- Understanding of medical terminology.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this position ranges from $16.00 to $28.27, influenced by various factors such as local labor markets, education, and experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive programs and retirement contributions, all subject to eligibility requirements.
