Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Mid-Level Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create visually appealing outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Creative Landscape Design Concepts

Develop innovative and sustainable landscape design concepts for high-end residential properties, taking into account the unique characteristics of each site.

Prepare Detailed Landscape Plans

Prepare detailed landscape plans, including planting layouts, hardscape elements, and lighting designs, using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Collaborate with Clients and Team Members

Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and other team members to develop design concepts, prepare detailed plans, and oversee the implementation of landscape projects.

Conduct Site Assessments

Conduct site assessments and analyze environmental factors, such as soil conditions and climate, to inform design decisions.

Select Appropriate Materials and Equipment

Select appropriate plants, materials, and equipment for projects, considering factors like aesthetics, maintenance, and sustainability.

Provide Project Management Support

Provide project management support, including budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing construction activities.

Stay Updated on Industry Trends

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new materials or technologies in landscape design.

Qualifications

  • Education

Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or landscape design, or a related field.

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in landscape design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of projects.

Skills

Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite), strong knowledge of plant materials, horticulture, and landscape construction methods, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving abilities.
