About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at Trick Dog Technology. This is a key position that will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supporting information security systems and solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement IT security solutions, including cyber, network, endpoint, and threat management security solutions.
  • Review and validate security-related change control requests, including initial approval or rejection.
  • Operate independently as a technical lead on security-related projects.
  • Provide IT support relating to issues with network security and systems infrastructure.
  • Document maintenance for all relevant systems infrastructure.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, and monitoring/management applications.
  • Professional IT and/or security certifications, such as CISSP, Check Point CCSE/CCMSE, Cisco CCNP Security, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE, Fortinet NSE 7-8.
  • Expert network systems troubleshooting and technical diagnosis skills.
  • Expert firewall policy and rules management experience, including Check Point, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet.
  • Expert cyber/network security policy management and monitoring experience, including Solarwinds, Netskope, Algosec, Tufin, Skybox, Varonis, Illumio, NAC/Forescout, and Tenable.
  • IT service management systems usage experience, including Monday.com, Service Now, BMC, CA, ConnectWise, and Jira.
  • Cloud and cyber security experience, including AWS and Azure.
  • Able to build clearly defined requirements and convert them into robust technical architecture.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Able to prepare written communications and materials, including PPT, Visio, Word, and Excel.
  • Able to follow clearly defined requirements.
  • Able to follow written communications and materials, including runbooks, playbooks, and knowledge base.
  • Interpersonal skills, including telephony skills, active listening, and customer care.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies, processes, and learn quickly.
  • Able to mentor team members and communicate effectively.
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
