Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire and analyze patient data to design effective radiation treatment plans
  • Conduct manual and computer-assisted calculations of radiation dose distributions
  • Collaborate with radiation therapists to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery
  • Develop and implement radiation treatment plans in accordance with established protocols
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Two years of experience in medical dosimetry required; Tomotherapy experience preferred
  • Certified Medical Dosimetrist (C.M.D.) certificate required; Licensed/Registered Radiation Therapist (RTT) preferred
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
