**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. This is a part-time, evening and night shift position at our Sunnyside Medical Center in Clackamas, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work as a member of the nursing team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse on assignments that are routine in nature and within authorized duties of the CNA 2 Acute Care.
  2. Perform tasks that have predetermined procedures and guidance, and provide care and assist patients within the limits of the authorized duties for CNA 2 Acute Care consistent with those defined by the state.
  3. Document and relay messages or instructions accurately, and report patient information on a timely basis.
  4. Verify understanding of information and ask for clarification when necessary, and document accurately to reflect understanding of assigned tasks.
  5. Contribute to a positive patient care experience, and collaborate with team members and support the goals of the team.

Requirements:

  • One (1) year of experience as a CNA 1.
  • High School Diploma or related medical assistant experience.
  • Completion of an OSBN approved CNA 1 Program.
  • Current Oregon certification as a Nursing Assistant and CNA2 Acute Care Certification.
  • BLS with AED certification within thirty (30) days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a CNA 2 Acute Care.
  • Computer keyboarding skills.
