Job Summary

Foundations for Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the position of Nurse Manager. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of healthcare professionals and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the total assessment, planning, implementation of patient care, ensuring that quality services are rendered to patients in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing on the adult unit with respect to census and acuity levels, in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
  • Set standards for the adult unit and ensure that quality services are rendered to patients.

Qualifications

  • Licensed in the state of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of behavioral health nursing clinical practices and management.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices.
  • Developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others' activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.

Foundations for Living is a comprehensive behavioral health system that provides a range of services to individuals and families. Our system includes a 77-bed inpatient hospital, a residential treatment center for youth, and a residential addictions treatment program. We also offer outpatient services, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services.
