We are seeking an engineering student to join our Foot and Ankle R&D team for an Engineering internship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in inventing and creating concepts and designs for new technologies and products.
  • Create and evaluate prototype designs on actual projects and programs.
  • Perform design verification and validation.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to develop new test methods and protocols.
  • Execute required Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing completion of a bachelor's or master's degree, with a focus on mechanical engineering, biomechanical engineering, engineering mechanics, or equivalent.
  • Must be available to work onsite out of the Memphis, TN facility.
  • Experience in SolidWorks and/or CREO CAD Software.
  • Expected travel 0-20%.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry is a plus.
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above.
