Principal Human Factors Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Human Factors Engineer to join our team at Goddard Technologies, Inc. in Beverly, MA or San Diego, CA. As a key member of our product development team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and launching innovative medical products that meet the highest standards of safety, usability, and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Human Factors Engineering Activities: Develop and implement human factors engineering strategies to ensure our products are safe, easy to use, and meet regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product development specialists, engineers, and designers to integrate human factors engineering principles into product design and development.
- Conduct User Research and Testing: Design and conduct user research studies, usability testing, and other human factors engineering activities to inform product design and development.
- Develop and Maintain Regulatory Compliance: Ensure our products meet regulatory requirements, including FDA and ISO standards, and maintain compliance through documentation and training.
- Lead and Mentor Team Members: Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior team members to ensure the success of our human factors engineering team.
