Job Summary

Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Chase Family Movement Disorders Center. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with movement disorders, including essential tremors, restless legs syndrome, dystonia, Huntington's disease, and Parkinson's disease.

Responsibilities
  • Provide initial diagnostic and follow-up care for patients with movement disorders under the direction of an attending fellowship-trained movement disorders neurologist and other consultants.
  • Work collaboratively with the attending physician through shared visits to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Participate in ongoing clinical research and education about movement disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to be licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) is required.
  • Experience practicing as an Advanced Practitioner, especially within neurology, is preferred.
