Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, English, or a related field, with a preference for candidates possessing strong customer service skills.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality, sales, or relationship management within a non-profit or healthcare setting is preferred.

Position Overview

The Donor Relations Coordinator will operate under the guidance of the Foundation Leadership team, focusing on the identification, cultivation, and stewardship of donors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager in the identification, cultivation, and stewardship of donors.
  • Assist donors with the Grateful Patient program throughout the continuum of care at Jupiter Medical Center.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to JMC staff regarding the services and benefits of the Grateful Patient Program, as well as the significance of philanthropy.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of hospital services and amenities.
  • Conduct tours and prepare informational packets for prospective and current donors.
  • Provide administrative support to team members.
  • Demonstrate strong writing and editing skills to produce professional correspondence, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, prioritizing responsibilities while maintaining flexibility.
  • Prepare presentation materials as required by team professionals.
  • Exhibit professionalism when interacting with high-profile donors and prospects.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet research.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent entries in the database.
  • Manage calendars for Administration Team professionals, including scheduling appointments and organizing meetings.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and superior organizational abilities.
  • Prepare monthly expense reports for Administration Team professionals.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
  • Maintain a detail-oriented focus and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as required.
