Job Title: Content Specialist - Cybersecurity Awareness

Job Overview:

The Technology Communications, Cybersecurity Awareness & Training Content Specialist will be responsible for crafting engaging content in various formats to support overall technology communications, with a specific focus on cybersecurity awareness and training. This position will involve conceiving, developing, and implementing cybersecurity awareness campaigns based on the latest best practices, promoting secure behaviors, and fostering a strong organizational cyber culture.


Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Develop engaging and informative content, communications, and training initiatives tailored to specific audiences. Utilize diverse content forms (e.g., articles, posters, videos, flyers, learning modules) to enhance the effectiveness of cybersecurity communications.
  • Monitoring and Measurement: Monitor and measure the effectiveness of cybersecurity awareness initiatives through various metrics (e.g., engagement, behavioral). Identify and interpret relevant metrics to assess content effectiveness.
  • Roadmap Development: Assist in the design, development, and implementation of cybersecurity awareness roadmaps.
  • Event Organization: Organize cybersecurity awareness events as needed to promote engagement and education within the organization.


Required Skills and Experience:

  1. Fluency in written and spoken English.
  2. Ability to communicate complex subject matter in a simple, clear, and concise manner to various stakeholders.
  3. Project management experience, with the ability to plan, manage, and maintain multiple time-bound tasks.
  4. Practical knowledge of message distribution techniques to ensure effective end-user consumption of content.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  1. Experience as an author, editor, or contributor to literary work.
  2. A basic understanding of concepts related to information security and/or risk management.
