Job Summary

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness that provides grain, food, and energy resources to businesses and consumers worldwide. We are seeking a skilled Custom Applicator to join our team in Wagner, SD.

As a Custom Applicator, you will be responsible for applying fertilizer and crop protection products to farmers' fields. You will also be required to pick up and deliver products to customers, work with customers in a courteous and professional manner, and educate them on products being applied to fields.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in agriculture production, operations, and/or agriculture application. You must meet the minimum age requirement and be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply fertilizer and crop protection products to farmers' fields
  • Pick up and deliver products to customers
  • Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Educate customers on products being applied to fields
  • Assist the sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and patron needs are met
  • Perform warehouse work, including driving a loader, forklift, mechanics, and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
