KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership and Development

  • Achieve and exceed defined sales objectives for the location.
  • Ensure Sales Counselors apply the techniques outlined in training resources while complying with company policies.
  • Deliver initial and ongoing training to equip Sales Counselors to effectively meet customer needs.
  • Act as the primary resource for Sales Counselors regarding aftercare processes, prospecting, product knowledge, sales presentations, closing techniques, pricing, documentation, compliance queries, and customer service delivery.
Market Development
  • Design marketing initiatives that resonate with the community's geography, demographics, and cultural aspects.
  • Conduct competitive pricing analysis to remain informed.
  • Engage in community events aimed at generating leads and increasing visibility for the location.
Financial Oversight
  • Review all pre-need and at-need contracts to ensure adherence to applicable laws.
  • Authorize discounts provided to clients.
  • Compile reports to demonstrate compliance with financial regulations.
Operational Support
  • Maintain marketing materials, training guides, sales tools, and other necessary supplies.
  • Ensure that sales programs, incentives, and presentations are properly budgeted and align with company policies.
  • Keep sales areas and offices organized and professional for both Sales Counselors and clients.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure all sales counselors adhere to the Code of Conduct and possess the necessary licenses.
  • Guarantee compliance with federal, state, and local sales regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience
  • Prior sales experience is not mandatory.
  • Experience as a Sales Counselor or in a supervisory sales role is preferred.
  • Experience in training, coaching, and motivating sales teams is advantageous.
Licenses
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Insurance license as mandated by state law.
Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in a Windows-based PC environment and MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work beyond standard hours when necessary to meet customer needs.
  • Capability to set challenging yet attainable goals for team members.

Compensation: $69,000 to $111,700 earnings potential.
