POSITION OVERVIEW

The Oncology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner operates within a specialized clinic, concentrating on patients undergoing treatment for cancer. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patient care, including the prescription of medications, guidance on health maintenance, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform thorough physical and psychological evaluations
- Request and analyze diagnostic examinations
- Prescribe appropriate medical treatments
- Formulate individualized patient care plans
- Advise patients on health and wellness strategies
- Maintain precise patient documentation
- Deliver specialized healthcare services
- Execute designated invasive procedures
- Modify patient care responsibilities as required
