The Travel Coordination Specialist is a full-time, exempt role that plays a crucial part in supporting our field operations. This position requires effective time management and may involve extended hours and occasional weekend commitments, along with minimal travel as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
~ Cultivate partnerships with local educational institutions to establish a network of college interns who will serve as social mentors for our students.
~ Oversee and mentor the staff within the Social Skills department, conducting regular performance evaluations and one-on-one meetings.
~ Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects that integrate social thinking into the comprehensive development plans for students.

Essential Qualities:
~ Demonstrated empathy and understanding of the diverse needs of families, students, and colleagues.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related discipline is mandatory. Proficiency in standard office software and adaptability to new technologies is essential.

Experience in methods and support for individuals with autism spectrum disorder or learning differences, particularly in social skills or mentoring, is highly valued. Proven track record of managing projects and teams in a collaborative environment is preferred. Certification as a PEER for Young Adults is a significant advantage.
