About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Swickard Auto Group. As a Diesel Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations, and headlight and taillight installations
  • Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers' problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
  • Inspect vehicles according to the state's requirements for emissions and safety
  • Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify the soundness
  • Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
  • Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
  • Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accordance with manufacturer/dealership standards
Requirements
  • 2+ years of prior diesel diagnostic, and repair experience required
  • Duramax Diesel experience preferred
  • A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Possess a valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable driving record
