Automotive Diesel Mechanic

Our client, a reputable dealership, is seeking an experienced Automotive Diesel Technician to join their team. This is a challenging role that requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in diesel mechanical or technical work.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and diagnose vehicle issues, identifying necessary work to be completed.
- Perform adjustments, calibrations, and repairs, including replenishing fluids, disassembling, and reassembling vehicle components.
- Use independent judgment to make decisions, documenting all work and hours according to manufacturer and company policies.
- Conduct road tests to ensure quality of work and resolve issues.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including automatic and manual transmissions.
The work is performed indoors in a shop environment, requiring standing and walking for the entire work shift. Tool usage includes mechanic's hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force.
Frequent pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling are required to access all parts of vehicles being worked on. Lifting, pushing, and pulling weights and forces from 20 to 100 pounds are occasionally required.
