The Restaurant Operations Supervisor works efficiently and oversees team members to ensure they fulfill their job responsibilities, enabling the restaurant to achieve customer satisfaction and profitability during their shift.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Ensures customers receive accurate and complete orders within designated service time goals, adhering to Customer Service Standards and operational procedures.
  • Prepares and guarantees that high-quality products are consistently served to customers as outlined in the training materials.
  • Maintains a professional image and complies with policies, procedures, and standards for conduct as detailed in the operational handbook.
  • Organizes and cleans workstations, ensuring that the restaurant's image standards are upheld as directed by management and local health regulations.
  • Manages cash handling responsibilities and ensures team compliance with all safety and security protocols as defined in the operational handbook.
  • Provides guidance and constructive feedback to team members, following up with coaching to ensure job duties are performed and standards are met.
  • Monitors food, paper, labor, and utility costs, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
  • Completes all daily documentation accurately and neatly as outlined in the Operational Resource Guide or as directed by management.
  • Follows all procedures related to opening and closing the restaurant, effectively handling unexpected occurrences and notifying appropriate parties promptly.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Restaurant Operations Supervisor receives direction and training from the General Manager and District Manager. This role involves supervising other team members and providing guidance to those under 18 years of age. During each shift, the Supervisor motivates, directs, and coaches team members to work efficiently at their assigned stations, ensuring tasks are completed promptly according to company procedures.

The Supervisor must adhere to all state and federal laws, as well as practice and enforce all company policies and procedures. They utilize all cost control tools and processes to ensure food, paper, and labor goals are achieved during their shift. They work diligently to ensure each customer is satisfied with the service and products received.

This position requires the ability to lift and move items, reach for products, and safely utilize equipment. Effective communication with customers and team members is essential, along with the ability to understand directions and complete customer orders accurately. Previous experience in the restaurant or retail industry is preferred. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
