A reputable client of UHY LLP, Certified Public Accountants, is in search of a Senior Project Manager to enhance their operational capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong PMP certification, relevant experience in Manufacturing Operations, and a proven track record in analyzing and managing KPIs. They should be a proactive change agent with exceptional problem-solving abilities, a results-driven mindset, and a solid understanding of business operations, particularly in handling sensitive information.

The Senior Project Manager position is structured as a hybrid role, requiring 1 to 3 days per week in the office, contingent on travel and office logistics. This opportunity is a direct hire with the client.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:

  • Oversees the financial aspects of projects and programs, ensuring accountability for delivering on the defined project scope while meeting technical, scheduling, cost, and quality standards.
  • Promotes cross-functional collaboration within the program and across the organization.
  • Facilitates the adoption of program management methodologies and standardized practices.
  • Engages actively with the core team members assigned to the project, which may involve direct or functional reporting.
  • Sets clear objectives and goals, providing guidance to the project and program teams.
  • Employs change management strategies and procedures effectively.
  • Acts as a liaison with clients, ensuring the organization meets their expectations and requirements.
  • Coordinates support for the program by organizing reviews and preparing comprehensive metrics and reports.
  • Develops a detailed plan that considers risks, requirements, and lessons learned, utilizing formal risk management and mitigation techniques.
  • Communicates updates to stakeholders at all levels, employing formal communication strategies to keep the business informed about contractual milestones and potential issues.
  • Encourages team collaboration to facilitate quick resolution of challenges.

Qualifications for the Senior Project Manager:

  • A bachelor's degree and relevant experience in the field or a related area are required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, supply chain, finance, project management, purchasing, or a similar analytical role.
  • Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills is essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with, or willingness to learn, Power BI is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Familiarity with Project Management methodologies is necessary.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to collaborate with colleagues and leadership.
