Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at the Central Intelligence Agency. As a Psychiatrist, you will provide medical care and advice to Agency employees, dependents, and other Agency-sponsored individuals. You will work in a consultative model, utilizing your medical expertise to advance the CIA mission where it intersects with psychiatric and broader behavioral issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care and advice to Agency employees, dependents, and other Agency-sponsored individuals
  • Work in a consultative model, utilizing your medical expertise to advance the CIA mission
  • Collaborate with global USG medical and psychiatric colleagues to deliver care and consultation in various countries and under different clinical scenarios
  • Develop and implement mental health resources and strategies to support Agency employees and their families
Requirements
  • Active, unrestricted license as a physician in one or more states
  • Active American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) board certification in Psychiatry
  • Ability to maintain continued clinical practice in psychiatry for at least 96 hours per year
  • Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation
