Psychiatrist Opportunity at George Washington University Hospital

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. This is a full-time position offering a unique balance between consultative liaison services and outpatient care.
Responsibilities- Provide Expert Care: Serve on the psychiatry hospitalist team, providing care to medical-surgery units, the inpatient psychiatric service, and the emergency department.
- Teach and Mentor: Teach and mentor medical students and residents.
- Develop Clinical Research Programs: Conduct outpatient consultations and develop clinical research programs.
- Medical Degree: MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
- Board Certification: Board eligible or certified in Psychiatry.
- C/L Psychiatry Fellowship Training: Completion of C/L Psychiatry Fellowship training preferred.
- Licensure: Licensed to practice in Washington, DC or ability to obtain.
- Experience: Minimum of four to five years of training experience.
- Credentialing: Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
