Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Smart Foodservice Stores LLC. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with sales and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, front end, and restrooms.
  • Assist with sales and inventory management, including receiving inventory shipments and stocking shelves.
  • Perform cart-to-cart transfer of products at checkout, including a visual inspection to look for product tampering.
  • Perform duties as receipt checker, verifying cart content vs. purchases, as customers leave the store.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
  • Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency utilizing general office equipment.
Physical Qualifications:

The Retail Sales Associate position requires the ability to perform the following physical activities for described length of time:

  • Stand continuously.
  • Walk frequently.
  • Drive vehicle never.
  • Lift 1-10 lbs (sedentary) frequently.
  • Lift 11-20 lbs (light) frequently.
  • Lift 21-50 lbs (medium) frequently.
  • Lift 51-100 lbs (heavy) occasionally.
  • Carry 1-10 lbs (sedentary) frequently.
  • Carry 11-20 lbs (light) frequently.
  • Carry 21-50 lbs (medium) frequently.
  • Carry 51-100 lbs (heavy) occasionally.
