Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Smart Foodservice Stores LLC. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, front end, and stockroom.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Restock shelves, face merchandise, and maintain visual displays to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving shipments, counting inventory, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Assist with price changes, promotions, and other sales initiatives as directed by management.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including counting cash, processing credit card transactions, and securing the store.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
  • Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency utilizing general office equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
Working Conditions

Work is performed in a retail store setting, open to the public. Exposure to outside weather conditions, moderate noise level, and physical demands of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.
