About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational and merchandise standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and embodying our customer experience principles
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to all operational and merchandise standards
  • Accurately ring customer purchases and returns, and count change back to customers
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers
  • Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor, following company procedures and standards
  • Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed
  • Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
  • Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Works effectively with peers and supervisors
