Administrative Professional Lead

At MSCCN, we are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Professional Lead to join our team. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of $86,100 to $111,700 per year, depending on experience.
Job Summary:
The Administrative Professional Lead will serve as assistant to the Deputy State Executive Director and staff advisor to the Deputy SED, State FSA Committee, District Directors, County Executive Directors, and Farm Loan Managers on administrative management issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the administrative management program for the State Office and its subordinate County Offices, including management analysis, personnel management, automation, support services, budget, and financial management.
- Assist the Deputy SED in planning and directing both administrative and program work of the office, advising the Deputy SED in highly complex and extremely sensitive matters, and, in the absence of the Deputy SED, directing all State Office operations.
- Perform various personnel management functions within the State Office, including developing position descriptions, participating in interviews with candidates for vacancies, providing input on selection decisions, and drafting performance plans.
- Determine County Office annual administrative fund requirements, develop and monitor salary and expense budgets for State Office and County Office (Federal) travel, and maintain budgetary control of funds.
- Provide support services to State and County Offices, including property and supply management, procurement, space management, records and forms management, mail, payroll, travel, and motor vehicle services.
Requirements:
- At least one full-time year (12 months) of administrative experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level of the Federal service or private sector, demonstrating experience planning, managing, executing, evaluating, and facilitating the full range of administrative programs and operations.
- Experience in developing and recommending detailed plans, goals, and objectives for the long-range implementation and administration of mission-oriented programs.
- Time-in-grade: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the GS-12 grade level.
