Key Responsibilities- Ensure the health and welfare of individuals served
- Assist individuals with medication and treatment plans as needed
- Train individuals in basic housekeeping tasks and personal hygiene
- Report general maintenance needs of living areas or home units
- Assist individuals with daily life activities, such as meal preparation and money management
- Participate in the development and implementation of active treatment plans
- Accompany and transport individuals to activities and appointments
- Effectively read, write, and communicate verbally in English
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Meet and maintain all requirements of applicable state agencies
- Submit to and pass a drug screen and criminal background check
- Ability to utilize basic computer skills
As a Direct Support Professional II, you will work in a variety of settings and environments, both indoors and outdoors. You will be required to work a flexible schedule, including nights, days, and weekends.
