Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Develop a diverse calendar of activities and events that cater to the interests, abilities, and needs of our residents.
- Activity Coordination: Organize and oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly activities, ensuring they are well-executed and meet the residents' expectations.
- Resident Engagement: Encourage resident participation in activities and gather feedback to continuously improve program offerings.
- Community Involvement: Build relationships with community organizations, volunteers, and entertainers to enhance the variety and quality of programs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of residents' participation, preferences, and any necessary assessments or reports.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members, including nursing, dietary, and housekeeping, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulations, policies, and safety standards.
- Resource Management: Manage the budget for activities and events, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to assist with activities and events.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
