Anesthesiology Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at the UT Health Science Center. As a key member of our anesthesiology department, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to surgical patients and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations to assess patient risk factors
- Monitor patients in the operating room to maintain a safe environment
- Record anesthetic information on patient charts
- Supervise nurse anesthesia students, paramedical, and medical students
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia preferred
- Certification as a CRNA from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
- Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse and APRN
- 2+ years of experience in critical care or perioperative settings
